April 14, 2025
The ENT Nursing School in Kumasi reached a significant milestone this week with the official visit of high-level representatives from the Ministry of Health (MoH) to its newly acquired facility. The visit marks a major step forward in the school’s efforts to expand its infrastructure and enhance training opportunities for students pursuing specialized nursing education.
The ministry’s delegation included key officials from the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Ghana Health Service. The team toured the new facility, assessed its readiness for academic activities, and held discussions with the school’s leadership on how best to align the institution’s growth with national health sector objectives.
The facility, which includes lecture halls, administrative offices, a library, and a skills laboratory, is expected to become fully operational in the next academic year. The visit also allowed Ministry officials to inspect ongoing preparations to meet accreditation standards and ensure the school is equipped with modern teaching and clinical practice tools.
